Corn Bread
Preparation Time: It will take your oven longer to heat up than it will to put this together.
Oven: 425ºF
Bake Time: 20 minutes
Yield: 9 medium sized squares of corn bread
Mix and sift together:
- 7/8 cup corn meal
- 7/8 cup flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
Add
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten well
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Preparation
- Mix then add per above
- Bake in a shallow buttered pan 8 x 8 inches, at 425º for 20 minutes.
