Scalloped Corn

This is a family favorite. I'm told it isn't difficult to prepare and everyone loves it.

Serves 6-8
Preheat oven to 350°
Bake 35 to 45 minutes



  1. Preheat the oven to 350°
  2. Melt butter in medium sauce pan.
  3. Stir in sugar and flour until well blended. Remove from heat.
  4. Gradually stir in milk. Add eggs and baking powder. Mix well.
  5. Fold in corn. Turn into a buttered 2 quart casserole dish (the one we use is about 8" x 8" x 2" deep - you don't want it to be any narrower or the center will not cook).
  6. Bake 35 to 45 minutes (it usually takes 45 minutes for us).
